Abstract

To present an oral communication or a poster, it is necessary to send a summary of 300 words maximum. The text should be in English.

Given the limited number of oral presentations and after evaluation by the Scientific Committee, a request for oral communication can be requalified as poster.

A compendium of abstracts will be prepared on USB stick and distributed to the participants of the symposium.

A call for papers will be made after the symposium for editing a special issue at Continental Shelf Research.

Oral communications

The presentation of an oral communication is triggered by sending a summary and after acceptance of the Scientific Committee.

• Oral presentations should be exclusively in English.

• Presentations must be compatible with Windows 7 and be produced in Microsoft Windows PowerPoint 2007 and more (slide format 4:3) or in PDF formats readable by Adobe Reader.

• Videos must be compatible with VLC software (avoid too high resolutions).

• Presenters should copy all videos and audios attached to the presentation in the same folder together with the presentation.

• Presentations are limited to 12 minutes plus 3 minutes for questions.

• Authors must bring their work on a USB stick to the organizing committee. Those presenting their communication on Tuesday, June 05, should bring it the Tuesday morning during the registration. Those presenting their work on Wednesday, June 06, and Thursday, June 07, should upload their work the day before presentation. Files should be named using the following format: Session xxx_author last name (e.g. Session6_Martin).

Posters

The presentation of a poster is triggered by sending a summary and after acceptance of the scientific committee.

• Posters should be exclusively in English.

• The imposed format is A0 size (841 mm x 1189 mm), in portrait orientation.

• The Organizing Committee will provide the poster panels.

Posters should be put up on Tuesday (June 5) morning (NOT possible before this day) and may be left up until 17:00 pm on Thursday, June 7.

Do not forget to include the ISOBAY logo in the header of your poster: logo isobay

The best oral communications and posters of junior researchers will be considered by the Scientific Committee.
